The seventh ranked player in the world Tomas Berdych has announced who is coach will be for the 2015 season. The Czech, who reached the ATP Finals semifinals in November, has hired Andy Murray’s former coach Dani Vallverdu.

Vallverdu split from Murray last month in a decision each part called mutual. It didn’t take long for him to find work. Berdych made the announcement on his Facebook page:

“Dear fans and friends …my new coach for next year will be Danny Vallverdu and Azuz Simcich” Berdych wrote in the post. “Thank you to Tomas Krupa and David Vydra for great time and fantastic work.”

Berdych said he had tried to convince eight-time Grand Slam winner Ivan Lendl to be his coach but Lendl was “too busy”.
