2015 NCAAs

My last blog focused on the strange and sad attempt to make college tennis more fan-friendly, and by doing so, making the sport less player-friendly.

As a junior coach, I see the importance of this issue firsthand because the desire to one day play college tennis is a cornerstone motivation of many juniors’ tennis experience. I would love college tennis to become widely popular, but here is how far-fetched that really is.

I'm going to make a reasonable assumption that if you are reading this blog, you like me … a big tennis fan.

While the 2015 NCCA team championships start today, my guess is that less than one percent of all readers can name the top three men's or women's team or individual seeds.

I'll keep this blog short and end it here, as I am sure everyone is scrambling to fill out their bracket.
